Arresting people without having any reporters tell about it, it’s like not arresting them at all. They need the reporters to make their "news" known!

Cype, the boycot we talk about concerns the JOURNALISTS. They said for 15 days they will not go neither cover any news at the occupied.

A boycott serves many purposes, of which I will just mention one, as it is topical; it shows that we stand with the journalists who are being treated in a deplorable manner.

I have boycotted the puppet regime ever since the border opened, and I will continue to do so, out of principle more than anything else. I refuse to show my passport to gain access to a part of my country. Doing this would make me feel as if I am submitting to the occupying forces.

Not to mention the fact that I might get arrested, considering the puppet regime are arresting any GC they feel like nowadays. Heard about the swimmer that got arrested, (or should I say abducted?) Pathetic!

I agree with you Simon. Anybody with some dignity would not go to the occupied areas just for fun.

Unfortunately for some people their entertainment (e.g. casinos, cabarets etc) are more importand that the interests of their country. But then again we know what kind of people those are, so we wouldn't expect anything better from them anyways.

Simon, do you for one minute believe the TC's give a jack shit whether you visit the north or not? You my friend are insignificant. If you ever have the opportunity try this, GO AND STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHARA DESERT, YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF HOW INSIGNIFICANT YOU ARE.

mrfromng,

Anastasia;s husband seems thrilled on the possibility of visiting his village for the first time. So many GCs before him including me were thrilled too. So, I tell her to be prepred for the schock of his life. What he will see is NOT what he thinks will see.

I'm not sure if the boycott will make any difference anyway, I've been into the occupied areas many times over the last 3.5 years, I've noticed that this year there are hardly any GC registered cars over there, but the place is so busy with tourists and ex-pats the place is busier than ever.
