Flying is the safest form of transportation...however, you should be afraid, on the way to the airport.!!

Everybody says that but I just don't see it, the feeling of having control over a car makes me feel much safer than knowing some hairy chested greek with whitened teeth and an 18 year old girlfriend has my life in his hands.

How many times have you been driving a vehicle and it stops or stalls or does wierd things, ok its not often but it only needs to happen once on a plane and you are all history.

All the engines can stop on a plane, and it can still make a landing. It will only get one chance, but it can be done. I think crash landing on a deserted island, and only you and the hairy chested Greek pilot surviving, should be the only thing you should worry about.!!!

If its above a runway maybe but on anything other than a smooth surface you are as good as dead. Even on a runway a passenger plane is so heavy that a landing will have so much vertical speed that there will be low chance of survival. Anyway, why am I scaring myself.

Hi GG

Don't worry about the plane....

Worry about flying with EuroShitAir (as we have renamed them) - We flew over last Sunday - I have seen better service on a midnight train out of London to Norwich AND BETTER FOOD...........................

Paris to Paphos & you get a Chicken Curry for lunch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello - Did the flight to India get French Steak & Chips & we got their Curry ????

And of course staff that did their training at McDonalds in Paphos........................

At least the SUN was shinning when we got here xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was on a Cyprus Airways to Athens last year from Paphos and fell asleep as we were taxi-ing to the runway, I vaguely remember us taking off. The next thing I remember was a slight bump as we landed and I thought to myself "Boody Hell" that was a quick flight. it was only when we disembarked that I realised we were back at Paphos; still don't know the reason why we had an emergency landing.
