I bet its the python they found in Nicosia few weeks ago...i guess his wife didnt like the idea haha

I can confirm that the man did not buy the python but boa (Voas) so maybe that python belong to someone else! What a nice gift huh?

haha,i guess they didnt find the boa yet!Or maybe she decided to kick out her husband instead. I think people should first be 100% sure that they want the animal they thinking to get and that they are able to take care of it before they buy it.It doesnt matter if its a dog or a hamster..they all have different needs.

A few months ago somebody told me when I was out in Coral Bay a month ago that 5 dogs were poisoned in the same street one morning and that the owners had to stand and watch them die in agony. Took about 30 minutes. They froth at the mouth then get incredible pain in the stomach and squeal in agony and convulse before collapsing and die. One of the owners didnt let it get that far and got a pillow and suffocated his own 11 month old puppy while he was in floods of tears just to stop it dying in horrendous pain. Those dogs were all loved by thier owners and were not a nuisance to neighbours in anyway. The heartless evil bastard who did this should be hung by his testicles and left out in the sun to rot. Cypriots should as a nation hang their head in shame and educate each other that pets deserve a decent life. I hope you all think about that owner suffocating his puppy tonight and try and feel the pain he must have gone through just before you shut your eyes to go to sleep tonight.

If you know anybody who is poisoning animals REPORT them.

Just to add that im told you can by an " antidote " kit at the vets for about £10 which gives you a maximum 15 minutes to give it too your dog to save its life if you suspect it has eaten poisoned food. Got to be worth it and make sure you take it with you everywhere you take your dogs for walks.

Agreed, many cypriots love their animals, and others, but there are a few that should be strung up...

They spoil it for the rest of us

If you love animals then you should be vegetarian ;) If you are not then better shut it and stop criticizing others when you are not any better. :P

sotos doesn't understand the love of animals. one can be a carnivoire and a pet owner at the same time.... sotos has now clue...ignore him when he shoots off his mouth about animals....

this is the sole reason i cannot visit cyprus, or move there. i would be so upset at the treatment of pets, i would end up in jail myself for kicking the butt of those that mistreated animals.

can't all the pet lovers there bond together adn petition the government for stricter enforcement of the laws? or form your own pet protection organization?

Would you eat a cat? Then why eat a pig?
