Yes, her husband punched her around a couple of times and she left but after 2 days I guess she wanted to be punched a bit more and she went back. Too bad I got slapped when he came over looking for her and I wouldnt let him in and my husband had to kck him of our property. All that, so she can go back. I do not understand women sometimes...

Thanks, rather than going back to London I'll be going to Kentucky for the funeral. She had just found out that she would be going into Julliard for dance next fall as an early acceptance.

Kikapu, thanks for the concern. that is close enough where I am but I was not on it. I was going out of town for the weekend with another friend till this friend showed up. It still thankfully wouldnt have been on that plane.
Tara I am sorry about your cousin. Sounds like she was a very promising person. They are still trying to figure out why the pilot was on the wrong runway. I believe my friend is going back because she might believe it is better the devil you know. She says she hates being lonely-I guess more than being someone's punch bag. My problem is that I am now involved and when you bring it into my home and then you decide you are going back, I am kind of done with you. My husband never laid a hand on me and I will not allow my child to see anyone else doing that and then welcome them into my home. She might think it is ok and that is unacceptable.
My "friend" told me that if I pressed charges it meant I am not her friend and so I guess she is going to be out of the picture since I did anyway. I think women like her have low self-esteem and need help badly. I believe that if you allow a person to do that to you, you as responsible as they are. I tried to help her get away but she didnt want to and I dont want to be caught in the middle of it again. As a woman I find his and her behavior both pathetic and sickening. I know I do not sound like a good friend. Maybe I am just angry and will regret it later. But if you allow yourself to be treated like that then I dont know...
