HI phil

Have you committed to buying a property without having sorted out the funds first?

Mortgages are available from Banks here, but they require the usual evidence of financial propriety: earnings' statements, six months' (UK) Bank Statements, letter from your Bank. You will usually be asked to put down a deposit of 30%, but it can be less in certain circumstances.

Hi Phil,

Can't help with the mortgage I'm afraid, but I would adsvise you not to buy the property until you have sorted one out.

It can take a while to get a mortgage through and I know of a couple of people who have been hit hard because they were unable to make stage payments due to delays in obtaining a mortgage.

If you're credit record's not too good in the UK, the Cyprus banks & financial institutions may refuse a loan.

Regards,

Hi

I've been speaking to Mosaic Mortgage Brokers in Nicosia, drop them an e-mail, they're sure to help.

Good Luck.
