First inhabitants were traced back to Chirokitia, near Larnaca/Limassol dating back 7000BC and they were from Assyria, Egypt and Persia .
Your source? The first settlements were indeed about that time, but there is nothing that links the people of that time with the Egyptians, Persians etc.
Greeks first came to Cyprus and founded their cities on uninhabited land (at that time the population of Cyprus was a few thousands and the concept of "country" did not exist - what they had were city kingdoms) at around 1400BC. Soon the other natives of the island adopted the Greek civilization. Since that time the great majority of the population has always been Greek, they always spoke Greek they followed Greek tradition, arts, religion etc.
The fact that Cyprus was later on occupied by each big empire in the region didn't change this fact. In fact Greece itself was under occupation for most of this time as well. (The Ottomans for example had Greece as part of their empire for longer time than they had Cyprus)
sounds pretty arabic to me...
What exactly sounds Arabic to you? Do you think that the Persians and the ancient Egyptians were Arabs? If thats how it sounds to you then maybe you need a couple of good history books.
