I think that this forum should be renamed to "LETS HANG SHIT ON CYPRUS FORUM".
Haven't you people got anything good to say about this island?

Yes! There are many poitive posts about the island and people wishing they were in Cyprus rather than where they are.

The only questionable thing I can think of is the over-development. There seem to be complexes (is that right? Feels likeit should have a different type of plural like complexii - nah, just joking)springing up everywhere.

My family there worry what will happen when/if the bubble bursts...
I worry about the destruction of agricultural lands, wild-life etc.

Things I like? The people in general - they SMILE! The weather - hot summers, warm springs and autumns and short winters. The laid-back lifestyle in comparison to UK. The fact that family is still important. The hard-working peeps who provide the services that the ex-pats often seem to be criticising......Should I go on!?

Things I like

1. The weather (it pis*ed it down coming back from manchester airport today)

2. The people

3. Keo beer

4. I get paid my UK salary while working in Cyprus

5. Laid back attitudes (ie No banks open at the weekend)

Could go on and on
