If they are tried and proven guilty it should be a military jail like Colchester for them. This way it would dissuade any others.

They were arested in 1994 and jailed for life. In 1998 the sentance was reduced to manslaughter.
The third and final one is due to be released now much to the dismay of the murdered girls parents.

In my opinion life should mean life

i am british, i think life should be life, if they were 100% guilty they should get the electric chair. its about time the courts started to get tuf, in england i think the courts are laughable ,Put me in the chair i will sort it out

What they did to that girl was atrocious and to think that they got out of jail young enough to go on with their lives is just like killing her all over again. Very sad day for justice.

I think they should have been kept in jail for LIFE and made to work, very very hard to pay for their keep by doing something useful for the community - like clearing mines etc.

most of the national dailys in the Uk have had some sort of coverage of this over the last few days
Most have also reported the events re the murder of a young man in Protaras a few days ago allegedly by 4 British tourists
