Does anyone know if there are any teachers of Reiki in the Paphos area?

I would dearly like to offer Reiki training courses when I am visiting my family over there but am hesitant to advertise in case I stand on anyone's toes - so to speak!!

Hope you don't mind my asking!

Yes, there is a Reiki Practioner (Lorna) - who also does other stuff like Indian Head massage etc. I think she is a Reiki Master. Can you not have more than one teacher in a single location?

Thanks, Lana.

Yes, of course there can be more than one! It's just that I wouldn't like Lorna to think that I was in competition so to speak!

Do you have any contact details for Lorna? If she does teach it then maybe it would just be a nice contact to have over there. If not, then she might like to train as a teacher.

Thanks again!

Her name is Lorna Firth, I do not have her telphone number but try Cyprus Yellow Pages or a Google search. (Sorry, I am about to disappear to DuBUY for a week, so cannot get her details.

Thanks again!

I'll do a Google search or get my family to look in their phone books over there!

Enjoy your break! I'd love to get away from this grotty English rain again before the winter!
I'm getting off-line now as I've been hi-jacked into taking my youngest son to the pictures.

Thanks Glenys and Hazza

I enjoy DuBUY; there is not a whole lot to do, once you have done a 4x4 dessert safari/dinner in an Arab village and had a romantic dinner sailing down the Dubai Creek - except of course SHOP!

For a country which has not had rain for two years, it is incredible to see the verdant grass and flowers by the sides of the road; also the stark contrast between the working sailing boats in the Creek and the ultra modern skyscapers that line it.

I will be staying at the wondrous Burj Al Arab, which I am told is an amazing experience.

I just hope the Cyprus airways strike does not affect my return trip; I had two days added to a London visit in March by their last strike. Maybe I should have flown Emirates!

I do want to support our National Airline (God knows it needs as much support as it can get!) but at times the Stewardesses can be a little arrogant and there are far too many fat cats being paid much for doing little.

Lana, thank you so much for that pointer to Lorna Firth. We're now in contact with each other and hoping to meet up when I next get over there.

Hope your Du BUY expedition was extremely successful!
