Learning Greek

Postby chrisreddy » Fri Aug 18, 2006 1:05 am

I'll be moving to Nicosia in a month or so and I was wondering if anyone knew any good places to learn Greek? Are the local unis/colleges any good? Does anyone know if they offer some sort of certificate programmes?

Thanks!

I don't think the University or the colleges offer such courses. You can however take private lessons at institutes.

The university does offer a course. Their School of Modern Greek has varying lessons for different levels and different times. Here's their email: [email protected]

Also try the Papantoniou Institute Phone: (00 357) 22330391 / 22455724 Fax: (00 357) 22334107
