The Divan of the Lover

The Divan of the Lover*

All the universe, one mighty sign, is shown;
God hath myriads of creative acts unknown:
None hath seen them, of the races jinn and men,
None hath news brought from that realm far off from ken.
Never shall thy mind or reason reach that strand,
Nor can tongue the King's name utter of that land.
Since 'tis his each nothingness with life to vest,
Trouble is there ne'er at all to his behest.
Eighteen thousand worlds, from end to end,
Do not with him one atom's worth transcend.

Mehmedi your poems are a bit lame.

Heres one I found earlier.

O' Thong

Oh Thong - Oh Thong
Why do you feel so wrong?

I follow your instructions down to the letter
But nothing makes you feel any better

You ride too high and in my crack
There is no way the store will ever take you back

Although you make me look sexy and hot
I can't take any more, however ...you will make a great Sling Shot

Mehmet!!

You're obviously aromantic with a love of poetry, romance and fantasy.

Your English understanding is pretty good. Read the "Lord of the Rings" by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Don't watch the movie!

Read the text and then come back to this BB.
