There are stories every day of women being forced into prostitution. If that's not organised crime, I don't know what is.

thanks

The cyprus police are responsable for most of the organized crime in the free areas, lots of the police have a hand in the rip- off cabaret clubs and also prostitiution.
But the real heavy organized crime is committed in the occupied areas where there are hundreds of wanted criminals living & paying the turkish cypriot police bribes.

There you will see a classic case of organised crime with girls being shipped over from Eastern Europe and forced to go into the sex game. With the corruption in place with the police and goverment, they turn a blind eye.

Organised crime in Larnaca is not restricted to just the Port roundabout area as I and my Cypriot neighbours found out to our cost.
Larnaca's authorities, Police Municipality Immigration officials and the CTO have chosen to ignore and/or are involved in the rapid growth of the supply of Eastern European woman for Larnaca's sex industry that provides a service mainly to local and not tourist custom.

But what the F..k I had the money to move elswhere and did, none of the women the pimps or hopefully the customers are my relatives and what was once a good place to live or holiday in even after the disaster of 1974 has now become a dirty little town with even dirtier officials in authority.

I now never recommend Larnaca as a potential tourist destination and in my line of business that's damaging!
