Even the home coffee machine makes fine one.

I think I can help you with that since my husband was a General Manager of a restaurant for a while. They take the coffee machine coffee-the cheapest brand(restaurant blend) thats already kinda weak and nasty and they put less than they should cause they think they are saving a bunch of money. Then they serve it to you and it tastes like crap...

Yes, that's pretty much what I expected. One time a young waitress comes to my table and says, "would you like to have more coffee sir" in their usual nice way, so I said "yes please". She had a coffee glass pot in one hand and a tea glass pot on the other, but she couldn't tell the difference, because both looked the same, in which the "light" would pass through the black liquid in the pots.

All chain restaurants as well as fast food places serve bad coffee. Starbucks is actually good, but most Americans complain, that Starbucks coffee is too strong, in which I want to scream real loud. But Americans give the best service in restaurants including fast food places, anywhere in the world. They also serve the worst coffee, anywhere in the world.

7-11 used to serve half-decent coffee (if you caught it fresh). Then they blended the Columbian stuff with God-knows what and it tastes like crap now.

At least you can weaken strong coffee with water. There's nothing you can do for weak coffee.
