I think I make an ok boyfriend, a little old fashioned maybe but always a gent. In fact even the girls that it didn't work out with was never a bad ending, always on talking terms. And my current girlfriend has it so easy with me, I am a total pushover. In what areas am I failing? Whats so offputting about me?

I'm not a control freak like most men are from our part of the world. I know some men who do control their women. What's the point in doing that. I can assure you, that is not love, and I don't know why a woman stays with an idiot like that.

I'm 27 and been through the wars and back to be honest.
Its not that I'm worried but I am curious as to what people pick up on and what assumptions people make based on it. Honestly, its not a dig, I'm just very curious. Maybe I have misread the situation but I thought it was all going great.
