Hmm can't speak for Frobier..
BUT..
ZAVOS?
Having rented a propery they built, when i first came to the island, prior to buying...I would NEVER, EVER buy a property from them.
The Communal swimming pool leaked - from day one, now lying empty.. letters to Zavos..IGNORED.
Proof of staying in business a long time is NO recommendation, especially as the clients are not locals.
Also I know of a Russian friend who bought a Zavos built house only to find it had been built "illegally", and he wouldn't be receiving any title deeds...lost his shirt.
WHY does this nation not give you property deeds, on completion of a sale, like any NORMAL country? I've heard of too many stories of properties being sold multiple times, or the developers borrowing against the deeds even though folk are living in them who have BOUGHT the house..
On amother section of this forum, I have observed Cypriots mocking the "system" in the north...
I'd be careful of throwing stones in a glass house..
When buying property here, make SURE you are buying from a solicitor who has a reputation for being a "Rotweiller" when it comes to dealing with Developers...NEVER buy from a firm recommended by the developer.
