Turkish Cypriots are no more than a minority

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Of course you can steal something that is partly yours if you take illegally the part that is not yours, as you did.

This is also a difference in viewpoint, I relate the situation more to a divoricng couple where the family home shared by both for a number of years 4 rooms are given to the wife and 6 to the husband until a divorce settlement is agreed. It belongs to both of them but the wife enjoys use of 4 rooms and husband 6 until they agree to divorce and part ways officially. In this scenerio is the wife a thief?

Viewpoint, the "rape" I was referring to was not about what the Turkish army did in 74. I am using the word in a metaphorical way, unless of course you know of a way to have sex with the ground.

The word analogy using rape is wrong as the act of rape is vile and disgusting so you also counjour the emotions associated with this degrading crime. Theft of a car woudl bemore appropriate as it does not have the human element involved after all we are talking about land and you yourself stated it is not a sexual orientated analogy.

Well, here lies the problem. So far the only way you accept to stop the illegalities is if we legalize your illegalities (making our sister a prostitute, so you can legally screw her, instead of illegally raping her - got the metaphor now?). And if we do not agree to your demands then you say you will continue with your illegalities and crimes until we agree!

I still object to the metaphor but if you want to continue to look at it that way dont forget who you screwed from 1963 onwards my mother daughter and even grandmother, so us just screwing your sister is really your responsibility and it is in your hands to stop us whenever you wish. Is that good for u??

You are clearly trying to make us to capitulate by using the power of the Turkish army. If you want to have negotiations on a fair basis, then return the land to RoC, return to RoC yourselves as per the 1960 agreements, and then we can sit and discuss of how we can modify those agreements. If we both agree to something different, then we get that something different. If we don't then we are left with the 1960 agreements which are legal, and not with the illegalities you force on us.

If I return to the 1960 agreements will you allow me to use my veto? or will you run to the EU and UN and revive Akritas?

Our homes were never shared with you. You kicked out of their homes 200.000 people. What kind of "share" did you have in their homes?

Turks came to our island 500 years ago by force. Not exactly a modern kind of "marriage". Now if you don't like us anymore go from were you came from. You can't take any part of our island with you though. No part belongs exclusively to you.

The word analogy using rape is wrong as the act of rape is vile and disgusting so you also counjour the emotions associated with this degrading crime. Here we are talking about the killing of 6000 people, the ethnic cleansing of 200.000 and the human rights violations of 100s of thousands of people. This is more vile and disgusting than rape.

I still object to the metaphor but if you want to continue to look at it that way dont forget who you screwed from 1963 onwards my mother daughter and even grandmother, so us just screwing your sister is really your responsibility and it is in your hands to stop us whenever you wish. How did we "screw" your "mother, daughter and even grandmother" from 1963 onwards? You have killed way more GCs than the other way around, so how does your analogy match?
Also if you take the time before 1963, again for the most part of our common history you will see that the Turks were the ones committing the crimes.
So why do you insist on committing them? You got addicted to them and you can not stop?

If I return to the 1960 agreements will you allow me to use my veto? or will you run to the EU and UN and revive Akritas?

You can use your veto and the 100% of your rights according to the constidution. And I can run to EU and UN and so can you, why not?? And I can write fairy tales and documents if I want as well. Is that illegal?

Its an analogy Piratis...referring to the island as a whole, comparing it to a shared house and a marriage. Dont forget you to had something to do with the break up of the marriage.

Turks came to our island 500 years ago by force. Not exactly a modern kind of "marriage". Now if you don't like us anymore go from were you came from. You can't take any part of our island with you though. No part belongs exclusively to you.

Why not go back even further Im sure you were married to many more people before us. We have every right to exist in any oart of the iskand where we feel safe until a time we agree a solution to our problems, solve that and you will get your land back, thats if we dont decide to divorce.

Here we are talking about the killing of 6000 people, the ethnic cleansing of 200.000 and the human rights violations of 100s of thousands of people. This is more vile and disgusting than rape.

Hey Piratis happened to both sides the volume doesnt designate right or wrong.

How did we "screw" your "mother, daughter and even grandmother" from 1963 onwards? You have killed way more GCs than the other way around, so how does your analogy match?

You screwed us good and proper from the day we were married in 1960, you had no intention in continuing with the marriage and then you took control of everything banned me and my mother, sister and grnadmother to the basement and then screwed us all for 11 years.
We only want a peaceful existence and thats what we have today if you want a solution then work for it and try and put something in place of the plan you said no to. The longer you do nothing the more you support the current situation.

You can use your veto and the 100% of your rights according to the constidution. And I can run to EU and UN and so can you, why not?? And I can write fairy tales and documents if I want as well. Is that illegal?

So you admit you will do everything within your power to have our rights watered down or even annulled?

May I ask why you are informing us of your intention to attack when you feel strong enough? Is it to unite the other side so that they will attack first to make sure that this will never happen? In that case, would that be a fair game? What if this day comes before the day you are planning for? And you are a moderator of this forum. Why are you debating with us if this is what you believe in? Are you trying to convince us that we need to be killed in order to solve the problem.

If risking the complete annihilation of a population (TCs and GCs together) for whatever goal you have is not extremism, what is extremism then?

Rouble rousing statement that does nothing to avert the prospect of a permanent division.
Don't forget that when the day comes , the change of the balance of power !!! , let us march triumphantly
to Constantinople ! along with flying pigs.

There are 3 people on this forum all highly intelligent , yet between the 3 they do not posess any sense of humour
what so ever . Not once have they showed any evidence of being human , apart from politics they have no other interests. Unless you can laugh at your self you run the risk of being seen as extremists , tell us a joke VP , Kifeas , Piratis.

It is these modern day warriors that can be be compared to those Eoka terrorists of the past who not only killed us but also their own people. Given the opportunity these people who are in training would kill TCs without batting an eyelid. This may seem very extreem but these are exactly the people TCs fear the most as it is this type of mentality that will ensure we are discriminated against and even put in physical danger. It is the same blind mentality that will prove people like me right everytime and ensure that we do not trust each other for many years to come.

VP, I will not waste any more of my valuable time arguing with you and Miltiades about your melodramatic, pretentious and fake representations. Instead, I will ask you again what I already asked you before and for which you failed or avoided to give a complete and conscience answer. Why, since your leader (Talat) is claiming that he is pro-solution and pro-unification -something which you evidently oppose and prefer and promote partition instead, don’t you lobby among the members of your community to force your leader to change his policy, and instead you come here and try to convince us that partition is indeed the only viable road? Why do you come here and try to convince us, instead of going to your own very leader and convince him not to claim and strive for a re-unifying solution, but instead to work for what you believe is the only proper solution? Whose arguments should we be dealing with, your own pro-partition ones, or your elected leader’s pro-unification ones?

Furthermore, only two days ago your elected leader made a speech in which he described the Greek Cypriots with very inflammatory and victimizing words and slogans.

http://www.trncpresidency.org/news/tala ... ypriot.htm

Do you know why he claims that he wants a solution that will supposedly re-unify Cyprus and its people, when at the same time he paints the GCs with the brush in which he did in the above speech? If I was a TC, I would naturally never want to re-unify with the people my leader described in the above way. As a GC, I would have never wanted a re-unifying solution with the people that their leader describes and presents me and my community in the above way, and this a matter of self-respect and dignity. However, your leader, contrary to what logic dictates based on his above public words, he claims to be a pro-solution and pro-unification. When is he real and genuine? What shall we believe from him? In which ways is he different from Rauf Denktash?

Can you at least provide me with some serious answers to all the above?

Your analogy is then wrong, because in reality their was no sharing in what you stole from us. The homes and the land belong to Cypriot citizens (private land) and to Republic of Cyprus (state land). Where is said that the land is shared between the communities?

Well, I am not sure how you do the "marriages" over there and why for you a foreign invader that comes to exploit the people of this island is analogous to a "marriage".
Still, everybody else that came to this island before either integrated or left. This is your choice as well when the Turkish occupation will be over (like all the other occupations were over)

And how did you do all those crimes against us? From the basement? The fact is that in the intercommunal conflict we were screwing each other, which could be even considered normal since we were married as you said.

Kifeas are you mentally stable? you really expect me to answer your questions after all the personal abuse you hurled at me.
You really need help. I was just reading the other forum and you appear to be having problems there as well, why do you think that is, ho sorry I forgot you are always right and everyone else is wrong or just stupid.

May I ask why you are informing us of your intention to attack when you feel strong enough?

I am saying the obvious. Our country is under illegal occupation, if we could throw out the invaders of course we would do it. Why this surprises you???

Is it to unite the other side so that they will attack first to make sure that this will never happen?

If they can attack they will anyways. It is clear they are trying to take as much as they can using illegal practices of ethnic cleansing and land grab.

In that case, would that be a fair game?

What would be a fair game would be if everybody accepted legality and a solution based on democracy and human rights as they exist in all other democratic countries.
Since they refuse to be fair we are given no such option unfortunately.

And you are a moderator of this forum. Why are you debating with us if this is what you believe in?

The time I was debating trying to find a solution ended when I realized that the majority (which I am not saying it includes you) of TCs want to gain on our loss by using the power of Turkey.
Today I am convinced that no solution will come out of discussions or negotiations. Unfortunate but true.

If risking the complete annihilation of a population (TCs and GCs together) for whatever goal you have is not extremism, what is extremism then?

Defending your own country from foreign invaders is extremism????
The extremists are those that invaded our country and stole our lands, not us, that want to take back nothing more than what belongs to us.

Look at the big picture Piratis TCs also owned 20% of that house (private land) which is now the "RoC". We were sharing Cyprus or were you under the illusion it was all yours???

Well, I am not sure how you do the "marriages" over there and why for you a foreign invader that comes to exploit the people of this island is analogous to a "marriage".
Still, everybody else that came to this island before either integrated or left. This is your choice as well when the Turkish occupation will be over (like all the other occupations were over)

You are twisting and mocking your own analogy to support your twisted arguement.

We tried the integrated stuuf in 1960 didnt seem to work for some reason but dont worry you can wait for the swing in balance of power to resolve the problem.

And how did you do all those crimes against us? From the basement? The fact is that in the intercommunal conflict we were screwing each other, which could be even considered normal since we were married as you said.

We were in the basement(ghettos) while your were enjoying full recognition screwing us by taking the power and the benefits of recognition. So who was screwing whoi you seemed to be doing all the screwing until we grew balls and raped your arse. (This is getting out of hand no more screwing or rape analogies please)

We only want a peaceful existence as well. If you want a peaceful existence only for yourselves while screwing us, then you will sooner or later get the same in return. Thats not a very peaceful existence, is it?

Did we have the inter communcal conflicts of the past in the last 32 years? Id call that pretty peaceful.

Are you saying that your rights are not compatible with UN or EU? How come?

What Im saying is that I do not believe you will stick to our 1960 agreements and allow us to practice our full rights.
