Miltiades this is not a phenomenon of the elitists.It spreads everywhere in mainland Greece, and that cast of people would even sell their mother for their own interest. The problem with Greece is that particular cast is too big. On the other hand there is an equally big cast of people in Greece who are so kind and have so high ideals that’s unbeleivable. I met people in Greece who surpass us in kindness, humanity, and idealism by 10 times. Over time the Gcs realised this situation in Greece, it was proven to us over and over again, that even the thought of having Enosis with Greece scares us the hell.

Do you really think Enosis is only a latent feeling amongst GC's. Surely after so long being the master of their own fate they would not surrender their freedom to Greece to become just anothetr Greek Island. I find that difficult to believe-they would not be that stupid surely. Whereas we TC's are being forced into becoming a Turkish province through the lack of a solution and not through choice. As much as I would like to see a solution and re-unification I just dont see how we are going to get there.

Sadik , I think I did call you some time ago the voice of reason , and indeed you are such a sensible individual and I have met many that share your views and mine . As far as VP is concerned , let me argue the point you are continually making and the assumption you have drawn on the G/Cs being intolerable to others' views .Most G/Cs share my views that Cyprus belongs to all Cypriots and the last thing that any one wants is a bloody war that a. The G/Cs can never win and b. The T/Cs do not want.
Kifeas should really stop referring to you as a female , his comments against your person are unacceptable , derogatory , immature and not the least constructive. I also do not want a ban on any one on this forum but I feel a few days of voluntary absence will be good.
VP , I stated earlier that on Tuesday night I met up with Mrfromng for a drink , and spent a wonderful evening sharing a glass of wine , well three bottles I think , and exchanging views on the Cyprus problem . We met in a Turkish Cypriot restaurant in South London and had a good laugh and a good chat not for one second did I , or my friends saw anything but good intention within all of us. Lets hope we can do the same in Cyprus because when you mix with your compatriots it does not take long to realise what a terrific bunch of people we all are in Cyprus.
