Your posts do nothing to bring the two sides together, how can TCs ever expect to live in peace in Cyprus with people like you showing so miuch hatred. I do not agree with much of what VP says but I fail to see how calling him a snake and insulting him helps the debate.

As far as VP is concerned , you refer to VP as a female , since I'm not certain that your not being vindictive in some way I will refer to VP as a male until corrected.

This war and threats talk by you Kifeas, is really spoiling everything. I understand your frustration, but you have to concentrate on you fine logical argumentation, without derailing into such paths.

I understand perfectly the reason you call VP a "she". VP is a person whose brain operates on intuition and instict, which is typical of women. In the absence of logical explanation this ability of women, provided mankind a tool to survive. Because men at such situations simply raise their hands. The problem with VP (which is typical of women) is that cannot escape from his "intuition and instict" line of thinking, even when he is presented logical argumentation that proves him wrong.

He is just one of the victims as everyone else Kifeas, please understand that VP cannot influence any TC to embrace his views unless that TC wants it! So take it easy man.
4)War might happen one day but does anyone have the illussion that even if we win we will be the winners? Hey are the TCs the "winners" of the war in 1974???? Is Turkey a winner???? The one who attacks is never the winner even if he "wins". (Look at Israel Vs Hezbollah)

Svetlana I request that this person called Kifeas is not banned, let everyone read for themselves exactly what lies behind the mind of many GCs and the venom which they display when challenged with anything out of there limited sphere for tollerating other peoples viewpoints. They turn to insults of the lowest form and expect that individual to want reunification well you will not get anyone to unite with you Kifeas as you do your people the worst dis-service possible, only sick part is you dont realize it.

You are the one claiming to want reunificaiton not me, are you so blind as to not see what you are doing does not contribute positively to changing anyone views or helping them understand but providing time and time again that example which we TCs feel is a good reason to mistrust people like you, thinking you are a reflection of the GC people in general. You sink deeper and deeper into the pit of proving why we should never reunite, yet you seem to continue with the same old belittling and degrading rhetoric.

I cannot see how we can make such a leap and come to the conclusion that we should never be united because of the personal remarks between two people. Both of you, come on. Do not exaggerate. If you two cannot get along, I don't care. If you cannot debate in a calm manner I don't care. But this does not mean that we, as communities, cannot live together. This does not mean that we cannot solve the Cyprus Problem. This does not mean that we need to go to war. There might be tens of people on this forum, but our communities are formed of hundreds of thousands of individuals. Each of us are different human beings and each of us have different opinions which change over time. Do not over extend your assumptions.

Let me add that I do not approve of Kifeas' insulting comments towards VP, for what essentially is an expression of his opinion. I give this to Kifeas' deeply emotional personality and the disasterous effects of the Cyprus Problem on him. Sometimes issues that seem to be purely political and abstract in nature can have great impact on peoples lives. We should consider this. I hope to see Kifeas' calm and insightful new posts.

There might be tens of people on this forum, but our communities are formed of hundreds of thousands of individuals. Each of us are different human beings and each of us have different opinions which change over time.

But surely a group of people from a certain area are a sample of that area, obviously the larger the sample the more accurate the statistics on opinions are but from what I read I think the differing views are symbolic and proportional of the whole area. And as a note, the only place where anger disrespect is shown in discussions is in the middle east and we all know the state of play there.

That's because we are all conceived as females. I believe six weeks into the pregnancy the stronger sex emerges. But ultimately we are all girls at the beginning. Hence the breasts.

Come on buddy, chill out. No need for insults and obscenities. We may all one day meet up for drinks and a bit of bonding. How will you feel then about the things you've called other members?

Miltiades and I met up for a drink and a chat the other night. We may organise a night for all members in the UK to meet, we are also considering doing the same in Cyprus at a time we are both visiting there.
