All your gripes are money related, does that mean you admit that if money wasn't an issue you could have a better and more enrished life in London. Don't misunderstand me, I love Cyprus, but for me its a place to holiday and nothing else.

In another thread, Jazzy mentioned the crime. It's probably a mixture of everything, crime, politics, security, financial etc.

Hi Guys,
my reasons for leaving London are nothing to do with money (however we are being ripped off daily), as we own our own house (no mortgage left to pay !)
And earn enough to not worry about material things, but having two children to raise has completely changed my outlook.
Only a couple of weeks ago my husband had to attend the funeral of a family friend who was fatally shot in the heart aged 18 for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the cynics amongst you will say "drug deal gone wrong " but it really wasnt this time.
My reasons for leaving are quality of life, not quantity of money.

xx

I'm truly sorry to hear about your family friend Jazzy. :( I hope you enjoy your new life in Larnaca, I'm pretty sure you will! It definately is a lot safer! :)

And you never know, I may see you around Larnaca on my next holiday to Cyprus

8) Jazzie1 said her reasons for leaving are quality of life, not quantity of money! Why would she come to Aus?? Have been here 35 years and its all about work and giving the governments money, much like where she is.
Visit nearly every year and i love it.
Moving to Cyprus and cant wait
Cyprus is the place.

I wish you all the best also
