I assume you are referring to the men arrested in London for plotting to board US bound planes? What is not convincing. Do you believe that authorities would disrupt operations that affect the entire world and cause major economic reprecussions just to plant a false plot story?

I'm with you on this one. If the plot was foiled as they claim, so what's with all the flight cancellations. This is the police authority that shot dead an innocent men 7 times in the head last year, one of the brothers in the shoulder few months ago over making weapons that never existed, as well as arresting people for making of "risin" last year, that also proved to be wrong. Last year they have cancelled flights to the USA, some already half way there, to return back to London, for couple of weeks, because of certain names on the flight list. You would think, if there was a suspect that the US wanted, they could land the plane at a military airport in the USA, and arrest that person, if infact it was a terrorist.

You sound like another West basher , Zypezokyli , who I'm certain that had this plot gone head he would have been the first to excuse it by some absurd analogy.Look the West is at war with the fanatics of this world , the fact that they also happen to be misguided Muslims must not blinker your reasoning. The Tamil f..ng tigers are not Muslims , they are just as perverted as any other human who would gladly commit suicide to satisfy his perverted ideology.
They are the biggest threat that civilization has ever faced , bigger than the Nazis and the West has to take austere measures to eliminate this threat for the sake of humanity. The authorities rely on available intelligence , they will make mistakes but if by making 100 mistakes they avert the death of thousands then its worth erring.
I also believe that these sick individuals should be rounded up and and locked away where they can do no harm.

I'm very happy to be defended by the country I live in. My country has many times has also lied to me, so yes, I will question actions when it is questionable as to what the motives might be.

I was just saying the same thing to my sister this morning - sounds fishy to me too........i dont believe or trust anything anymore LOL
could be a diversion from the problems in the middle east
lets make the world hate muslims even more........

I heard on BBC world news that Blair didnt order the security crackown on handluggage till he had finished talking to his Boss - Barmy Bush for over 45 minutes, maybe it IS a conspiracy to justify the Israelies slaughtering the Lebonese, maybe it wasnt. But one things for sure - If there was any suspicion of a terrorist plot I thank God they discovered it before anyone got hurt, and thank God also that Bush was available to give Blair (puppet prime minister of the 51st state of America) permission to go ahead with the security precautions!!!
