You're beginning to sound like "King George" Bush II. You'll be saying " either ya are with us or with the enemy" next. Dancing Bear, it was a great thrill meeting the Queen up front and personal when I was 22 years old, but I got to tell you, in the 25 years that I spent living in San Francisco, I have met lots of "Queens" that were more fun and more colourful. !!!! Perhaps that's what the Royal Family lacks.

Well, I will get up, have breakfast, lunch , dinner, watch TV, and be on the Forum. Why, is there anything more important happening on the 15th.?? If there is, I can always miss lunch.!!!

Miltiades - Im glad u enjoy this forum and I enjoy reading your posts
but tell me do you really think we are winning this so called War on TError??
do you feel safe??
are u really telling me that you dont believe the superpowers of the world are not making money from this war??

Also with the picture of the covered muslim woman that offends you and Dancing Bear
what about Saudi Arabia?? close friends of Bush and his cronnies....and Im sure business interests of theirs too...........
They have the most unfair and strict clothing policy for woman, woman cannot drive in Saudi Arabia! most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi's but all that seems to go unnoticed!

We do celebrate 15th August over here but no public holiday
the greek church has services but its my FIL's birthday so we always celebrate..........

Anastasia , I think that we have a long way to go in our efforts to eradicate the cancerous growth of religious extremism. Let me say that I believe wholeheartedly that our civilization is facing the worst enemy it has ever come across. People who are willing to commit mass murder in order to promote an ideology that is infested with hatred and perverted ideas.
The growth of such dangerous ideologies right under our eyes has been helped by the naivety and short sightedness of the liberal forces amongst us. The decease is here amongst us , unchecked and encouraged so instead of administering the required dosage of drugs to stop the decease spreading , the opposite is administered.

Sooner rather than later we shall realize that grave errors have been made , I just hope that it is not too late.

Why should the stupidity of an individual offend me , they want to live in the 4th century AC, its their business ,
When recently I was taken to hospital , I refused treatment by a woman that displayed signs of medieval character , I was called a racist !! I explained that I found the dress mode offensive in England and demanded to be seen by another doctor. I'm diabetic and occasionally I require treatment.
