Opening Bank Account

Hi,

I'm British and I'm movng to Cyprus with work in a few weeks for 2 years. Does anyone know how easy it is to open a bank account in Cyprus and/or what I will require?

If it's a chequing account, they may ask for proof of address and a past bank statement.

You need passport and proof of address ex: rental agreement, ownership of house etc..
