2 of my Cousins had their Husbands run off with younger Russian women and were left a wreck. They came back to England saying that all the Men were cheats and they knew quite a few other women whose husbands were having affairs.
So my question is, are the cypriot men faithful
Apparantly there are more women than men on the island making them ore likely to stray

Adultery in Cyprus is on the same level as any other country in Europe.The only thing here is that men brag about it to their friends and due to the small society we live in cases of adultery are usually the main topic of gossip.
So it gives the impression that its a widespread practise in Cyprus.

I think us men are the same wherever you go, UK, CYP, Asia, Australia etc. There are good and bad apples wherever you go.

I agree with you swj, there are good and bad apples and women do cheat as well. Still, it's really quite a prevalent habit for men here to cheat - going to cabarets is a kind of sport in Cyprus society. Their wives have to accept it, but I don't think they like it at all and feel embittered and disempowered.

Sounds a little old fashioned that - women stay at home whilst men are out supping Keo!

Yes, there are situations like that. I haven't read of any in-depth surveys of this kind of behaviour, but it's an open secret.

hmmmm...keo! loved the stuff. that's another thing I was told whilst out there by the guy. I shouldn't drink beer. It was unladylike apparently?!
