Is it law for all toddlers to be in child safe seats whilst driving?
we are going to be hiring a car during our stay in cyprus - does anyone know if all car hire companies have these?

It is the law although most palavi parents over here have there kids standing either on the back seat on between the two front seats. There was a picture in the Cyprus Weekly once of a kid asleep on the rear parcel shelf!!!!

You can request the car seats from the hire company and they will put them in. Request it in advance to make sure they have them in stock. Better to be safe that sorry!

i would recommend taking your own with you. if you baby has his own seat on the plane then you can take it on the plane with you. This is far better for them comfort wise. i hired one for my son . it cost £60 for 2 weeks and was in terrible condition. I,m going to coral bay in and i will be taking 2 cars seats with me for my boys.

it was like this when I lived there too - or just hanging around in the back of a the utes
