Why the flags...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Well if the wall is still there, I'd be glad to see it go too. Not whitewash, maybe they need to get rid of the whole damn wall. how about that?

It seems a but cruel... like they are trying to start something. A kind of "in your face" thing... a reminder to every refugee of what they did to them.

This is not a sign of our national pride or our struggle. It's only purpose is to annoy the GCs. I condemn this mentality.

Child: It must be using a lot of electricity...

Father: When they will run out of it again ...they have some foolish neighbours ...that will re-supply them!

It's an unnecessary provocation that serves no real purpose except to give an outward expression of the scars in this country.

Was uncalled for but if having 37% of the island and not living under Gc domination means we are the loosers then we lost. Thank you very much.

Just as the grim GC pictures are displayed for all to see as you cross the border at Ledra Palace, you have to take things in perspective no side is whiter then the other.

When I say scars, I don't mean one side or the other, I mean it's an expression of the scars the country carries as a whole.

I only hope that one day these kinds of things will become a historical curiosity, like pieces of the Berlin Wall.
