They expect the man to open doors and pay bills, supply the CLK, pay for the hair nails and shoe habit, refurbish the house, bring the money home etc but will they cook meals, clean the house, drop the kids to school and generally run the household.?
I went on a blind date a while back with a BBC and when I met the girl she was incredibly modern and interesting etc and we went for dinner and it was all going great and then towards the end she stopped and said "I hope you know the man to pay for this meal". I was planning on paying anyway but that put me right off her.
My point is I can be modern or old fashioned but i will not accept getting the bad aspects of both and the good aspects of neither.
so did u end up seeing her again or that comment put you right off?? what if she was joking - did it appear that way?
it was a silly comment she made but she obviously felt comfortable enough with you to say it.......
our traditional roles are slowly changing but I think people are still confused how they should act....
are there no metrosexuals in Cyprus (sensitive new aged men?)
