I was quite envious of the Cypriot family orientated set up. The guy I'm phasing out lived with his family and sister and Grandparents all together and it sounded quaint - a bit like the Waltons. Guess it's not all rosey after all. In reality I can imagine it would be a nightmare!

I've not answered any calls or texts over the weekend so I'm doing well. Yesterday 8 ignored calls to my mobile and 3 to my house phone. Let's see today...
I know it's not the most mature method of hoofing someone off but I know if I try to talk I'll just get won over with his charm offensive. And I don't want to give him the pleasure of hearing me say I'm getting out now before I end up getting hurt as it indicates that I like him a lot and that will be massaging his already inflated ego.

I commented that I thought cypriot girls were very attractive in the russian women thread..

I dont know that it goes wrong at a certain age, its like women all over the world, some just let themselves go after they get married, and then they wonder why their husbands look for something like they married in someone else...

I wouldnt call them arrogant, more standoffish... once you talk to them they seem as nice as anyone else...

I've been married to a Cypriot for nearly 28 years.
She's as beautiful now as the day we married. She is also the most loyal best friend i've got.
As for the in-laws and the rest of the family ..never a moments bother from them, from day one I was a member of the family.
No regrets
