Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Where have you been? Women have the same bad manners as they never hold the door for men to walk through either.

They do not have respect for a woman's point of view, and are hardly taken seriously....

That's something that's got to be earned and some women have managed that.

This is true, there is a different attitude here. I was used to my opinion being taken as seriously as Mr Niki's but the Cypriot men either ignore you or look at you as though you're mad for having an opinion. Any legal/financial issues have to have his name as the signature despite the fact I handle all of this. It's funny!

The trick is to not worry about it, it's the way it is, it's an education for them that will happen eventually! 8)

Niki you need to learn to be more assertive with them ...

They just act all brave and commanding, but stand your ground and bawl them out. They soon crumble. They're just used to having their own way.

They won't know what's hit them .... .... a woman answering back!

Actually they are also more receptive to the "pathetic female that doesn't know how to sort something out" lark

... use that on the right man and you can just sit back and let him solve the problem for you ..... ... If there's more than one around, you can even get them trying to outdo each other to show you who can help fastest / better .....

You misunderstand, I educate them all the time. I find it impossible not to be assertive! I don't know how to be meek! 8) I like the look on their faces.

Its rather hard for a Cypriot man to hold the door open for a lady , after all he only has two bloody hands one to hold the mobile to his ear and the other his bloody fag !!
