came through today an 'interesting' study done by a Professor in Cyprus into why Cypriot men are marrying foreign (esp. Slavic) women. Some of the quotes are priceless...

"Cypriot women are envious, consistently moan, and are demanding in nature. Participants stated that their former Cypriot partners would moan obsessively in areas such as the bedroom mostly about gifts; this would in turn make the male feel sexually impotent.”

“There was this one guy who told me that his ex-wife would nag him from morning till night. She wanted a Dolce & Gabbana handbag and a Gucci scarf. At one point he’d had enough,” says Domic.

One interviewee, called Ioannis, said: “At least my wife appreciates the bread she eats. Cypriot ladies are ungrateful and they do not appreciate what they are given.”

If I wanted an insight into the Cypriot male psyche then this was the answer to my prayers! :shock:

oh my - those quotes are an embarrasement to Cypriot men!! and so lame!
my wife appreciates the bread she eats??? so what is he saying? thats what made him marry a foreign wife? and how long until the foreign wife starts demanding the designer handbag???
geesh sorry but that makes cypriot men look even dumber!

It is Sal...by the sounds of things the men are full of themselves that sleep around and depend on their mothers and the women are snooby nosed who moan and wouldn't be seen in Marks and Spencer!!!
