Because of the past and the current demands to turn us into a minority in our own country under the majority rule of GCs. I do not want to invest my future into the hands of GCs alone.

The day GCs realize we are equal partners is the day we move forward.

I think what the TC's want is a 50-50 "equal voice" in running the country, regardless of the proportionality of the population. This is the only way they can trust the GC's, who are the majority.

I already know what most TCs want. I wrote it in my first post. Equal voice and equal vote means that each TC will have the same voice and voting power with each GCs. What TCs are asking for is in fact unequal voice and unequal vote, since they insist that each T|C should have 4.5 times more voting power than each GCs. There is no way that such discrimination can be made among the citizens of a single country (there is no such country). Only partition can deliver such thing, and this is why the aim of most TCs is in fact partition.

The answer to your partition demands has been "no" and it will continue to be. We will move forward when you will not be able to enforce the illegalities. Not before and not a milisecond after.

You are 18%. Isn't 18% a minority?

Then take 18% "equal" participation in the goverment. Thats ok? Or the way you realize minority/majority changes depending on what suits you better?

You have been trying to solve illegalities has you put them for the past 32 years where has it gotten you?, what makes you think you make any headway. The world is not interested in your complaints or they would have solved your dilema many years ago. You need to realize thats its not the world thats going to solve our problems its us and you no one else.

You are correct numerically we are the minority but we are an equal partner the fact that we are shorter than you does make us any less a partner on this island. When you start treating us like one then we will show the flexiblity and compromise you are looking for as long as our community is not put at risk of being exploited or dominated by GCs.

Could you explain what you mean with the clause "we are an equal partner"? Because if this is correct then we agree, yes you are an equal partner, a copatriot, regardless if you are TC or GC... you have the same chances, same voting power, same economic power... then you will be an equal partner... do you agree with this?

Good for you viewpoint, we are starting to be talk nice to each other without any insultings, GOOD START ;) we are actually talking now and that is how we are only going to solve things. Crazy people exist in both sides but we need to realize that there would will be but we do not need to consider them at all.
