With Lebanon and Israel at war on our doorstep, is this part of something bigger?

Thats a propaganda film.
For example this is said at 5:50 of the film: "The Palestinian war in Israel is part of the global jihad".

The poor Palestinians are fighting for the liberation of their country from the illegal israeli occupation, and instead of calling this "Israels war and occupation against Palestine" they call it "the Palestinians war in Israel".

Just one example that shows how much of a propaganda this film is.

Those are terrorists alright. The question is who creates those terrorists and who benefits from their actions (by using them as an excuse)?

For example do you think Israels attacks on Lebanon will reduce these "terrorists" or they will multiply them? I think the second.
