In most households both people work Simon (bit like the UK) and the salaries I mentioned are for unskilled persons. Its still a great City to live in.
I'm lucky I suppose I already have my flat in Nicosia with no mortgage plus i'm paid UK rates.
Eating out is about the same as other areas but with a lot higher standard of food and service. Beer is.... well it doesnt really matter we'd still buy it anyway eh

Some of the skilled people (English) get paid the same as unskilled, biggest problem being language, a lot of the well paid jobs want people that speak English and Cypriot.

By the time I retire(sounds ages away!!) my pad in Pissouri will be paid will be all paid for so I will be able to enjoy Keo and Ouzo just like you Richard!!! : :D :D :D :D :D
