I drive a convertable for 8 months of the year but NOT July and August, it is just to hot, even at 8am! I suppose after 7pm, it might just be OK - but otherwise top up and a/c on!

For me they are Spring/Autumn cars :-)

The best thing about these cars is as you say - no matter whether it is 40 degrees or 4 gegrees you can at the touch of a button open or close the hard top roof to invisibly hide it in the boot and put the air con climate control on
