The answer to your question is "yes". It is, I agree, only fairly recently that they have worked in the UK, but I can confirm that mine does. And, as I said, it is the cheapest way that I have found to txt or sms another Cyprus mobile

cyprus sim cards have been working in the uk since as long as i can remember. my dad used to travel once a month for years (different countries everytime) and he never had a problem. as for the charges, i dont know.

PS: doesnt apply to "pay as you go", or Soeasy, or whatever those prepaid ones are called these days

My SIM card is from CYTA SoEasy and is pay as you go - and yes, it does work in the UK. As I said it has only done so fairly recently.

I checked my balance last night. Sent a txt/sms to Cyprus (which was received and replied to) and then checked my balance again and it hadn't changed

story goes... i met this lass whilst staying at my mates house over in cyprus and am wantin to stay intouch with her... shes on so easy pay as you go aswell .....

so what would i have to do ? get her to send a sim over then can i top it up over here or what???

any MORE help would be appreciated

Get her to send you a SIM - CY£15 inc CY£3 calls (make sure your phone is unlocked.

You can top up using a credit card here
