Illegal occupation -> Anger -> Hate. Who is to blame?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

We need the TCs and GCs that care for our country, are law obeying, and contribute to our society. Without them Cyprus would not be the same Cyprus, it would be a much worst Cyprus.

Then the other TCs and GCs who do not care about our country, who do not respect the laws and harm our country, we don't really need. Sure, Cyprus without them would be different also, it would be much better.

Are you guys saying this from your heart or just to be politically correct? I'm not asking this to start a fight. I have reservations about the sincerity of your comments.

Why would the presence of TC's enhance Cyprus? Your comments would be most welcomed.

mrfromng , a Cyprus with just the G/Cs would for me at least be not the Cyprus that I grew up in. My Cyprus consisted of both Greeks and Turkish people , my playmates as a child again were both Greeks and Turkish ,
and I love the way a Turkish Cypriot , mostly my UK friends , refer to them selves as Cypriots. The culture is not just similar but the same leave or take a few minor unreal ingredients. One of my UK friends , a very wealthy T/C
who , when my now 34 year old son was a toddler , lent me his R/R to take my little boy for a spin .His children are now in their thirties and visit Cyprus regularly. These are my people these are my compatriots and my Cyprus is their Cyprus. Need I say any more.

So having nothing better to do I sit behind my computer remembering my glorious past days.

I look around for some Turks to kill once again but what the hell none of you here is a real Turk you all live abroad, next generation of you will be as Swiss as the original ones.

Kikapu wrote: Man, you're so twisted, I doubt you can tell the difference between your ass and the hole in the ground. You got me going for a while with all your concerns with your Human Rights crap, when in fact, you're just a lost person. You couldn't give a toss about a Cyprus solution, because you don't want a Cyprus solution. What you want is Cyprus for the Greek Cypriots. Unless you're a little bit more serious in your posts, as far as I'm concern, you can take a hike.

I actually pity someone who asks twisted questions and jumps up shouting and screaming and cursing, when he gets twisted answers in return. And cannot even trace the more than obvious sarcasm.

A million pesos ?????? In Mexicos?

Hey mrfromng, I can honestly tell you that what I am saying comes straight from my the heart! I never experienced what Cyprus used to be like, I've always known it to be a place thats seperated, however my father, Grandparents, they new how it used to be, they tell me storys from tha past, especially my father, who grew up in the 'North', he'd tell me how his Grandfathers closest friends were Turkish Cypriots, etc....

I really hope that one day, I also get to experience 'The real Cyprus'.....

Peace! :)

I have heard the same said to me by a great many older cypriots, those who remember the days prior to division...

By the same token, i have also heard from younger cypriots that have been indoctrinated with hatred for the events of 1974 that unification will never happen and will not be welcomed..

Its this younger generation that needs re-education
