Your not a Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus, you occupy Cypriot land by force. YOU ARE TURKS isnt that why you have turkish flags everywhere you occupy northern Cyprus.

Cypriot culture is 100 times closer to Arab culture than say... American or British or German... they share the same music... food... warm hospitality and in some cases (like the Orthodox in Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria) the same religion.

Why did you guys run away and not stay in your homes? Just like we are advised by GCs that we wanted to go into ghettos in 1963 and that it was not out of fear but purely an urge to live in bad conditions and cause havoc, I can also comment that you should have stood your ground and staked claim to your homes and land. Why did you try to fight the Turkish army? they declared we are here to save you from the coup if you fire at us we will fire back with greater force. The GCs fired the first bullets and bombs from the mountains at the Turkish forces landing in Kyrenia where thousands of soldiers died, why didnt they greet them with flowers? and thank them for using their rights under the guarantee to intervene in situations such as the ones unfolding in 1974?

I have found it very amusing, reading all the posts
GC's slagging off theTC's and visa versa, all the arguments seem to be drawn on ethnic grounds.
There is no cypriot race only greeks and turks who live in cyprus
just like there are british turks and british greeks.

Look at eurovision Greece gets 12 points every year from cyprus
just like Turkey gets high points from Germany, noy because they like the song but because they are voting for their own.

I would lilke a GC to explain this to me;
In the Australian open (Tennis) a GC made it to the final and in the crowd were loads and loads of flags waving.
Why were they all Greek national flags?
One of them had a slogan written on it in english.It read
Constantinople is greek, Macedonia is Greek!!

In the free world you are allowed to fly whatever flag you want, say whatever you want, and write whatever slogans you feel like, as long as what you do is within the limits of law (which includes laws about human, democratic and other legal rights)

On the other hand, the Nazi practices that you support include invasion of sovereign countries, ethnic cleanings, violation of human rights, violation of international law etc.

Can you understand the difference between what you have the right to do (fly a flag) and the things you have no right to do (illegal occupation, ethnic cleansing etc)?

When will you stop giving lame excuses for the inexcusable crimes that you support?
