HANDICAPPED CHILDREN

Postby kanabus » Thu Jul 27, 2006 2:51 pm

Hi Everybody,
We are in Cyprus almost two years and as for me I am fine because I work as an engineer. Unfortunately my wife has a bad luck because she can’t find anything interesting for her since she’s in Cyprus. She’s qualified babysitter with good experience even with handicapped children and I have to say that she loooves what she does. As for now she is in one of the privet kindergartens in Nicosia but it’s only for a half time and the salary is only 150 per month so as you can imagine it is not so much. Anybody knows a kindergarten either a good place she could apply for a job?

Is in Nicosia a place to take care of handicapped children?

Thank you all in advance for information

I think the term now is "special needs", not handicapped.

Best Wishes

Here the term used is generally "developmentally challenged"

"special needs" is getting old also. The new term is "special capabilities". :?
