Was that the temperature or what the government want us to believe? Does anyone else remember all those digital thermometers/clocks which were in place in the 90's to be very quickly put out of use when they realised we were seeing temperatures above those in which you were expected to work. In Limassol the main one was on the roundabout near Ayios Phyla and builders stopped working when it was showing 40C. Obviously it was not showing the temperature from such a controlled point as used by the official weather places.
