Hi,

Much depends on how much you're shipping & how it's being shipped. If your shipping by sea, you'll have a 40 foot or 20 foot container depending on volume. For smaller amounts you'll have 'groupage' where you share a container with others.

Contact some of the international shippers, they'll be able to give you an indication of prices. Pickfords would be a good place to start.

Cheers,

Hi there

We have a local, well established, reliable shipping company near to us here in Zakaki. They may be cheaper than some of the big firms. It is Nautilus Services Ltd. Phone number is 00 357 25575121 ask for Christos. Mention Pat if you call them! :D

Good Luck!

Nautilus are based in Limassol, but I'm sure Paphos wouldn't be problem.

Also try excel.com very competitive with their rates. Best to ring for a quote though.

Whatever you do DON'T use Pickfords!!!

It cost us over 3 grand ad we had to make 3 claims for breakcage and theft. They are day light robbies IMHO.

Their aftersales service is terrible. If there is anything wrong you have to wait days to get hold of them. We payed for packing and unpacking, the packing in the UK was fine, but they just dumped it on the doorstep when it arrived here. We were told by the rep in the UK we had a full 20ft container and not to add anymore items. When the container arrived it was only 3/4 full and we had left a lot of stuff behind. Beware! :!:

Postby MACKAM1955 » Sun Jul 30, 2006 9:49 am

We moved here Paphos 3months ago I will tell you now you get what you pay for I shipped my big BMW motorcyle three piece suite bed, matress and personal house belongings which all came to 13cubic meters the stuff was picked up stored for 2months and arrived at our door in Peyia, I have never seen anything packed so well and we did not have any breakages and not a scratch on my very specially painted bike, The price was a whopping £3400 which is dear but I had no hassle at customes they had an agent in Limissol who did all problems getting bike out to use on their roads. Th ecompany was Ist Move of Bristol ask for Andrew hes brilliant and will keep in touch throughout
