WHY HAS THE GC NOT ARRESTED EOKA MURDERERS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Viewpoint » Mon Aug 07, 2006 12:32 pm

Yes, if your fathers name and now your surname is something like Hasan then you do not have a chance of taking that name as a surname as it is a first name. If your father has not already taken on a family name then you have the option of sharing the same surname as any of your amcas/uncles or else you find something original and adopt that.

Your documentation outiside of the TRNC can remain the same as you will register your old surname against your new one but anything in the TRNC will have to be in your new surname.

Once again thanks. Maybe I should run a contest as to what new surname I should take on. It's will be wierd, after age 51 to have a different surname.!!!

Re guys please open your eyes and see ahead rather the past and stop asking why did the GC arrestes the EOKA.................
Cant you see its the bloody english that spread the disease of the hate amongst us (the compatriots) so that they could have gained the best out of our country???? The english seem to be clever by poisoning peoples minds and implement their slogan DEVIDE and CONQUER, but what they cant see is that the earthly cleverness leads all the way to hell and dissaster...........
We are only a small country and what we can do is to enjoy it as mucgh as we can and make it a better place for kids. Me personnally i do not want my fututre kids to experience hate of first degree because that would make the misserable just as we are.........................

Well heres silly me thinking that the thread was about GC not arresting EOKA murderers and all of a sudden yoyoyo wants to change the thread and make it into a vendetta against the English. Well I suppose that lets the Scots, Welsh and NI off the hook anyway... makes a change
(bravo simpatrioti)

We are the masters at blaiming everyone else but oourselves. Why arent we solving our problems out now? what excuses do we have today in 2006 the English or the Turtles or maybe the weather. We are kidding ourselves by thinking both sides want a solution they are both paying lip service to this never ending story which is set to drag on for a few more years as if it was solved how would MPs get elected.

Do you believe that if G/C and T/C sat alone on the negotiating table without the U.k ,U.S,Turkey and Greece we will find a solution?
Its when these countries put first their interests instead of the people of Cyprus is when things get complicated.
So there is actually some grain of truth in blaming everybody else.

If what i was told from the older people, that all the cypriots lived together, worked together, all as country men despite religion or ethnic background we has sth common and that was Cyprys..... Up until the interests of the great whites grew for our country and then......................
we were killing each other. That is the only thing to realize from the past and move forward, if we are united nothing but nothing can stop us not even the great white. Realizing that Cyprus is the common point for us and working as a team rather than US and THEM we can only defeat the great whites of the era we are living.

Well said yoyo , and we did live peacefully together oblivious of religious and ethnic backgrounds.
I'm 60 and spent part of my childhood sharing sleeping quarters , dining room , games with T/C children , we went to a Greek School and they to a Turkish school , after school we were happily playing and doing all that children do .
If only we stop bringing the past to the forefront and focused on the future.
