Depends what sort of hotel you want. Nice one right on the front by the harbour called Liminaki which is not too expensive and has a lovely pool. Don't know any others in Napa itself but The Adams beach at Nissi Beach is very nice but is more expensive.

Sleep on the beach during the day that way you get to spend more on the essentials

There is the Anthea on nissi ave just next door to where i work just the basics but always busy so cant be bad. The Liminaki is really nice i always go there to use the pool and its right on the beach and a five min walk to where all the bars and clubs are. If it really is just some where to sleep and get changed there are tons of holiday appartments to rent all over napa. I went to the Napa Plaza hotel the other night to watch a friend of mine sing and it looks gorgeous in there. Diomylos appts are pretty close to everything and have a pool. You are spoilt for choice here.

The Nicholas Apartments is basic but cheap. Has a pool and drinks are not that bad either. Next to Mackie D's on main drag.
