Well???

I want to know about Skarinou, who's been and what its like.

Its a tiny village so I imagine hardly any of you even know what it is.

Any ifo or experiences would be great.

When you drive up the highway from Larnaca towards Limassol, its the first exit after the abettoir. Don't know what its like there but you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be no ADSL coverage there!

Skarinou is a lovely village, full of old Cypriot charm, beautifully renovated village houses, a wonderful restaurant called "The Olive Mill" and I should think a great place to live. It is about 20 mins from Larnaca a 10 mins away from where I live (nr. Zygi / Kalavasos) which is towards Limassol way. There are some lovely villages around this area, its worth a trip this way to see: Zygi (fish restaurants), Kalavasos (village square, great Taverna: Romios, Herb Garden etc.), Tochni (has a great craft shop), Chiorokitia, Psematismenos, Ayios Theodoros - I could go on.....
