i dont know about paintball guns but they all seem to be able to get real guns easily enough, there is enough hunting of defenseless animals and shooting of neighbours going on..

paintball businesses request that you give them your gun a day in advance so they can inspect it and make sure its within spec and not dangerous. you should contact them first. they'll be able to answer all your questions

PS: they sell all major brands of guns, so buying from them may be a better choice in the long run
