Interesting idea. In fact, even more interesting is the one about turkey being more politically astute, how do you reckon?

Well you see the Turkish politicians are more interested in what is beneficial to Turkey first and foremost.Unlike our politicians who have over the years , since independence , gone out of their way to forge alliances with nations that are of no importance to the well being and interests of Cyprus. To give you an example the visit to Cuba by a Cypriot delegation including I believe the Archhbishop , where they were made welcome by Fidel who also reminded Christofias amongst others that our nations have a common enemy . Now which common enemy was he referring to , you guess. Turkey does not mess about forging useless alliances but concentrates on areas that serve primarily her interests. And that my friend is what I called earlier "politically astute ",. The Greek politicians of Greece , are when it comes to international diplomacy , second rate. We in Cyprus tend to follow their lead , a dreadful mistake that has caused enormous damage to our cause.
