Last year the Lebanese have demonstrated and demanded that the Syrian Army should get out of Lebanon.

The Americans and English wanted the Syrian out at any costs.

Such are the Clever Lebanese politicians that they could not see what was cooking ahead of them.

The massive destruction of there country.
The killings of innocent civilians
The inexcusable excessive of force
The mass evacuation of people to other countries
The push of innocent people from there houses to refugee camps
The divide and rule tactics they have wedge between the Lebanese and Syrian brotherhood.

What a classic betrayal?

They have kicked there brothers out and they believed and trusted the Americans and the English.

What a joke.

Keep the Syrian's In, Bombs every other day killing their own Brothers(your words) Just think if Syria had their forces in The Lenanon, the Israelis would have probably flattened it by now. Take off your sun shades open your eyes, this is war and in War people get killed. If the Lebanese Goverment had any balls about them they would have sorted out the border security years ago by telling Iran and Syria to go away and fight their little wars on somebody elses Turf namley their own.

Reads to me as he was having a pop at israel rather than lebanon..

And merely pointing out that this conflict is breeding thousands of new fundamentalists who will retaliate..

dancingbear you are 100 % correct , if some people would remove their blinkers they would see that the cause off all this destruction is none other than Hezbollah and its backers , Syria and Iran.
Andry in the States can not see that this war is the result of Hezbollah playing big Boy and attacking Israel first. The war is tragic event and it must stop immediately , but it is doubtful with so much hatred out there that it will. The only reason that there are more Lebanese dead than Israelis is the inaccuracy of the Iranian rockets that Hezbollah is firing indiscriminately at Israel. This cancerous growth of hatred must stop and reason must prevail over evil.The killing is a disgrace on the human race. It is time that the combatants put aside their ideologies , Jews and Palestinians , and get on with finding a peaceful solution , will it happen , not likely.Iran,s President has again called for Israel to be eliminated , I think he is correct in predicting an imminent elimination , I just wonder whose.

The population of the Arab world is about 323 million people living in 22 countries across the Middle East , add to that the 68 million Iranians and you have 391 million people that we can reasonably assume that they are hostile to Israel with a population of 6.2 million . Just a thought . David and Goliath ??

Well Andry , name me one Western Government leader that has expressed the wish to wipe a nation of the face of the earth .
The West is , even now , weakening . The consequences would be unthinkable , let us hope in the name of civilization that new leaders emerge to guide us through the dark powers of evil that are emerging . The West faces the most dangerous enemy ever . The fanatical terrorist who would not hesitate to drop an H bomb on New York , London or ANYWHERE. Do you think these evil psychopaths would hesitate to wipe your city out , do you think they will stop to consider that you support them. I cannot agree with Israel or Hezbollah actions but the propaganda comes from all sides and it would not surprise me that Hezbollah has greatly exaggerated the death count. I fear that the EU and the UN fail to realize the real threat of Iran in the the Middle East. They failed to see the evil of Hitler until it was almost too late. Although my view of George Bush is unfavorable, he definitely does not have any reservations about naming things as he sees them. It is most important that Iran not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Instead of suicide bombers strapped with traditional explosives, they will be armed with small dirty bombs that have the potential to kill thousands.
