As a member of EU i may be asked to vote whether to accept Muslim Turkey or not! My decision is NO. Only this picture, of something that happened few years ago proves me that i do not want Turks or other Muslims in EU.

Was that a Church? It is really sad what happened to some churches etc, in northern Cyprus, although we can't resent all 'Turks' or 'Turkish Cypriots' for what the goverment does/did....You know?

About Turkey joining the EU, if they sort out their human rights problems than I don't see why not.....

As a Morphou resident this picture is of little offices around the Byzantine church of St Mamas. Behind these offices is a square with the church in the middle as well as other offices. At present these offices are being used as shops, travel agents as well as a couple of solicitors offices. Within the square a large number of second grade anatolian turkish settlers are living. On a recent visit to the church some of the younger settlers walked into the church eating ice cream and asking for money.....

I was under the impression, that any Cypriot can get a ROC passport, and if that is the case, well, they must be European Citizens. What else do you have that make you more special then the TC's.??

Is that the worse that could happen to a church, being turned into an office. Hell, I have a friend who lives in converted Russian church in the UK. After all, it is the house of the God, so I'm sure his does not mind if his childen are in it.
