Anyone have any idea if they've started building the new store yet? When is it due to open?

Golfer - me too! I love Ikea - specially the kitchen gadget department. Do you think they will have the swedish resteraunt and supermartket too? I used to buy loads of food there - it was really cheap and tasty!

The IKEA building in opposite the new hospital of Nicosia,next to shiakolas tower,the mall will also include a multiplex cinema,next shops and a few other companys...

IKEA IS GREAT!!!! I ma moving over next week and I cant wait for it to open, the furniture and gadgets are fab. The prices are really good.

I just wonder if it will be much more expensive than the UK.

The prices will be the same cuz it's a global franchise so it has to have the same prices worlwide.And YES it will also have a swedish supermarket,SWEDISH MEATBALLS YOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

so does that mean that Debenhams renamed ERMES? i think in Larnaca and throughout cyprus will be the same prices as here?

I have had a look at some sofas and I really like them but was worried the prices would be too high compared to here and also didnt know if the stock would be the same.

Have you been into a Ermes store?

I would Imagine IKEA, is going to cause some MAJOR competition between the other Furniture stores.
I have found the independent furniture stores there expensive and really not to my taste.
Nothing like the style Ikea offers.

There will be many unhappy dealers there.
