Hello everyone, i am new to this forum and quite excited when our family talk about moving to Cyprus, however it all depends on if i can get a nursing position out there and more importantly what are the rates of pay for a nurse? does anybody know ?
This our 3rd time to Cyprus, getting back to England only on Sunday, deep depression!! and each time we go we fall in love with the island more!! 8)

hi,
Nursing in cyprus is a nightmare. First you have to register with the heath department, this takes around 3/4 months. The most money you will get is £550 a month and this is working a 46 hour week.
The clinics are so way beyond anything in the UK, it is like going back 20 years.
l have had 2 nursing jobs l lasted 6 shifts in the first and 8 shifts in the second. l will never nurse again in cyprus and l know other UK nurses who would not either. Shop or bar work is better paid.
Good luck Caroline
