boomerang
you call this a sound investment? being dragged to courts?...yeah thats a good one....

Im talking about non-eu nationals can you take them to court? High risk beings high return that what attracts investors. Sound in the fact that we will never find a solution.

what are you talking about...you are making a mockery of the whole system....
settling in one and selling in the other...
Ok lets say all GC apply tommorrow to the commission in the North... would the selling stop?...According to you they will stop...You will still be isolated, so what excuses are you gonna come up with and what are you gonna be selling then?...TC homes? and then live in tents or something?

Now you are being silly we will not sell off all the land theres plenty, we act no differently from other countires which sell to foreign purchasers. You really dont get it do the more time goes by and we dont find a solution the more GCs will have to accept financial compensation as their land will built upon. Life goes on we cant freeze everything int he hope that one day GCs will want to compromise and sincerely want a solution therefore work hard to create one in place of the one they rejected. The only effective way to stop this process is find a solution so get your fingers out of arses and instead of persecting individuals for self satisfaction work with TCs to work out a solution.

Viewpoint you had more development the last two years than the last 30 years...Can you ask your self how this came about? and who contributed to this development the most?...The only people that its in their best interest for you to develop is your compatriots...Turkey, UK EU and USA did sweet FA for you guys the last 30 years...

The Annan plan happened and we voted YES.

Well you don't have to worry about me, I have no ties, no property or claims what so ever....extremely doubtfull of returning too...So as you can see nothing to worry about...

I was referring to GCs in general but you can think selfishly if u wish.

Ever heard of the expression it requires 2 to tango, or if not succed once try again?...But I remember Talat saying a while ago changes of the Annan plan are a non starter...Then 2 years later he says he is prepared to negotiate from scratch...Then Turkey bodyslams him on the canvas...I mean what the hell get your act together and tell us with the hell is in charge...and I am living the generals wants out of this...Can you point me to the right person that has the power to negotiate?...Talat or Erdogan of Ozcock?...Who is it?

Talat is the man you have to deal with, the excuses you make do not cut water with anyone but yourselves.

It took 30 years to finally wake up, I am sure you could wait a few more years for a solution...why the hurry?...could it be that you looking at the South could feel a bit jealous, and you want it now?...I would...I would have felt cheated that all these years, 30 to be exact...
What has the south done for you guys?...Now you are being a bit ungratefull here...YOur standard of living has doubled the last 2 years...Who do you think contributed the most here Viewpoint...I don't think Turkey did enough for you guys...She gave you the same system she had along with the same standard of living...I am surpriced you do not see this...

There is no solution you have just not realized it yet. Jealous of the south, you are welcomed to it, its your country and what you deserve. I am more excited about the TRNC and the speed with which we are developing this cannot be stopped, we may have started late but give us 10 years and we will be in a much better situation that you are, is that what frightens you??? We are grateful to Turkey and always will be, she has stood by us through thick and thin and your trying to run her down has no impact on TCs we are immune as you hate Turkey and cannot evaluate her actions with a level or unbiased mind. Our standard of living has always been much higher than Turkey this is due to the financial support they provide the TRNC ever year and her people do not complain or throw it in our faces every opportunity like you guys for minimal benefits which you reep the political benefit from 100 fold.

I think you would have to be a bit more specific with the term "belong". The Orams currently have use of it, Apostolides owns deeds for it as do the Orams, but those deeds have different legitimacy in the eyes of various groups of people. I guess who has the right to use the land will be decided in the European Court of Human Rights sometime in the future.
