Some clubs have been given a licence to stay open till 11pm but heavy police presence to make sure no alcohol is to be served after 7pm. The rest, if they want to open, they have to cater for families, children and pensioners.

From what I can gather from my relatives in that area a lot of the visitors are just dropping their bags off at the hotel and then heading for the tented camps just outside Ay Thekla. From what I've heard the security guards are being lenient over alcohol so long as the visitors stay within the compound.

2 more days till ayia napa soberness!!

Unlucky mate, you should of read up about Napa before booking it. I'm sure you'll enjoy your selves anyway. Just think of all that money you'll be saving.
